The Bluetooth PTT Simple combination of BT devices allows a portable radio user
more freedom of hand movement during a radio conversation than with typical handheld
portable two-way radio operation.
The SCM713 headset as shown in the picture below makes use of an extended boom mic which will allow clear transmission audio in noisy environments.
This BT option differs from the "PTT Special" in that the PTT button is included in the headset.
This BT device combination has been developed for use on noisy Construction sites, Restaurants and Broadcast applications.
In the restaurant environment a waiter can place his order via the headset and the radio while standing at the clients table or can request if a special dish is available without having to go back to the kitchen to enquire. As soon as the food is ready the chef can inform the waiter via the radio and BT headset. By using a BT connected radio and headset, the restaurant can utilise and control their waiters much more effectively and improve service to the customer.
In the Broadcast environment the "BT PTT Simple" combination can be used to effectively direct the radio user to perform certain functions such as moving a camera, directing questions during an interview or communicating back to the studio
